Park Building and Maintenance

About Us

Born from a passion for riding, Shoreline Dirtworks is committed to sharing the life experience of cycling with you.

For communities looking for new ways to promote health and fitness, we've got a fresh way of thinking.

We believe in integrating sports with healthy and accessible lifestyles. With that, our philosophy of building cycling and hiking trails, hosting training and skills camps can benefit your community too.

Some of our services include camps, building skills parks, building and maintaining trail systems and much more.

Ryan Lindh has eight years of trail building experience ranging from cross country to downhill Mountain Biking Trails. Over the years he has helped organize many races including the 2009 Bicycle Nova Scotia Downhill Championships.

Ryan is also a founding member of the Annapolis Valley Mountain Biking Association and an avid racer. In the spring of 2010, Ryan graduated from Capilano University’s Mountain Bike Operations Program.

Focusing on sustainable trail building, risk management, environmental stewardship as well as guiding, this is the only university program in the world specifically tailored towards working in the Mountain Bike industry.

With over ten years of experience in the mountain sports industry as an industry representative, athlete and builder - Adam Shore has created unique online mountain biking communities in both ecmtb.com and cogeyed.com.

These web communities have provided both physical events and facilities all the way through to Canada Cup levels.

The energy sparked from these efforts helped pave the way for what has become Dirtworks. Locally, Dirtworks has built 9 dirt jump parks and participated in events with some of the top trail building/riding mentors in the country.

Beginning as a volunteer with Halifax Regional Municipality - the dirt jump park program has grown in demand to the point where Dirtworks is now providing a whole roster of new services beginning with our new partnership with Ryan.
